I'm a southern girl, a down to earth animal lover, passionate about the great outdoors, writing, a good book, and a hot cup of (strong) coffee. I'm also caring, gentle, and compassionate. I'm a pretty good listener, if I do say so myself ;). I've always tried to live my life by the idea that a little compassion goes a long way in making the world a better place to live. I try to approach everyone I meet with that attitude.
I graduated from Montreat College in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
As a therapist, I primarily work with people who have PTSD, Anxiety, perfectionism, and specific phobias. I utilize my training in EMDR and CPT to help people heal and through these research based therapies, I've been able to help people get rid of flashbacks, nightmares, panic, and anxiety for good. As a therapist, I can take my compassion, pair it with kick ass training, and really help you create the life you want to live. Helping people find freedom is a great honor.
